Quite the group of EV owners attending the volunteer Fire Department training to show EVs.
Members from 3 different Drive Electric Ohio groups attended - Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
Multiple Volunteer Fire Departments sent first responders to learn about electric vehicles.
Multiple Volunteer Fire Departments sent first responders to learn about electric vehicles.
First Responders also need to be aware of electric equipment like EV tractors.
EV Owners showed where to find emergency disconnects in their EVs.
Newer EVs like the VW ID4 have different types of emergency features.
The Mean Green Electric Mower was up first and surprised the first responders with how quite it was.
The Tesla Model Y gave them a good demonstration of how to find the disconnects even with a frunk.
Multiple Volunteer Fire Departments sent first responders to learn about electric vehicles.
